Britt's Petulance

Assombalonga has been excellent so far. Commitment, goals and attacking threat.

But 1 aspect of his game needs improvement - his behaviour to referees. There's an unwelcome degree of petulance. Let's be honest, he could and should have been sent off yesterday. Slamming the ball to the ground in disgust or frustration. He's very lucky the referee or his assistant didn't see it. That would have been a 2nd yellow.

He also likes to complain to referees and urge them to card opponents.

This aspect to his game must change, sooner or later a ref will pick on this and he'll get a needless suspension.

But on the other side he was being fouled constantly and the ref was awarding them free kicks for naff all,which can frustrate you.yes he needs to calm down a bit but again his passion is there.at least he isn't falling over all the time cheating.

Whilst he was unlucky with one or two decisions it does seem to me that he likes to have the odd shirt wrestle with defenders?

He does have a lot to learn and does seem very raw at times. I noticed Pearce having a go on one or two occasions, against Cardiff, about holding the ball and waiting for runners, instead of turning on the half way line and heading for goal with no support.

Still he's young and comes across well in interviews and could become a very good striker one day. Wouldn't mind him coming of our bench towards the end of a game if we needed a goal. Reckon he could score a few playing alongside Martin.

Didn't notice that but you'd think perhaps we could stop ****ting the ball up to him. THe first time he had a decent ball into the box he put it in. WHy haven't we tried to do that all game?

You can see why he is getting frustrated. He is having his legs cut off by his own team.

He also gets ****ed over by referees. Not saying this is a "forest always get bad refs" just maybe he needs to be a bit more cute.

Its more people like Lansbury not really supporting him enough

Martin has been playing 5 years longer than him at a higher level. You seem to think Martin is god yet it took him till 2012/2013 to find any real form.
