    re: Rowett Favorite

I think Birmingham would be a horrible job. Unstable owners, clearly not a lot of resources with the way their squad has suffered over the past years and selling their best talent below the market price.

I think he'd be better off making his at Burton and taking a more stable job when it inevitably comes around should he continue to do well. He may not want to miss the opportunity to manage a Championship club though, if he turns their fortunes around even slightly he'll be loved, but it'll be a difficult job should he go.

Don't know why he'd go there. If he stays at Burton he'll probably be in the same league next year anyway. Better to be with a team that is winning than one that is losing.

I think it would be a great move for him IMO, with Peschisolido as his no2

Can't see why he'd go there at this stage in career, he would be better suited to concentrating on what he has at Burton and getting them promoted. They could be in the same league next season!

Having said that, I thought he'd be mad to even consider the Blackpool job but he went for an interview/talks first.

    So who knows.

He's an ex-Blue, so may feel an attachment to the place, know the behind the scene staff etc.

Owner situation would worry me tho

It might be hard to resist but the club is an utter shambles at the moment, no money dwindling home gates and owners owners who seem disinterested.
