    Six clean sheets

6 in a row without a settled back four now. Heard on BBC Radio Derby that hasnt happened since 1911/12, when we won promotion from the second division. All with makeshift CB pairings.

Oh and top of the league now too, can't remember ever seeing us top of the league in the time I've supported Derby, certainly not after a considerable length of the season.

A tough game overcome tonight, tough conditions against a team I will admit I underestimated. Blackpool sounded well organised and tough to break down, and for a while I thought it would be another opportunity missed but we got the goal we needed.

    COYR!!!

Oh and we now have the best defence in the league. And that's the area most would agree is our weakest. What a great "weak" area to have.

I remember us going top when we beat Preston on New Year's Day back in 2007, BUT, for me the difference now is that it feels like we might actually stay there...

I remember us going top in 1957 3rd Div North under Harry Storer, 1969 Div 2 under Brian Clough, in 1972 Div 1 again under BC, in 1975 under Dave McKay, in 1987 in Div 2 under Arthur Cox, and 2nd in 1995 in Div 2 under Jim Smith & Steve Mac. Oh happy days.

I wasn't born in any of those bar the last, where I'd have been 1 year old at most

Yeah, but if you look at Clough's record, nothing has changed. Like for like, like.
