you fail to mention that results against 1st, 2nd, 7th and 11th on the left hand side of your table were all when clough was in charge.
this stigma of struggling against the best sides wouldn't really hold up if you stripped clough's results away now would it?

That is all that matters to me.
These comparisons are irrelevant until we know where all our opponents will finish anyway.

[quote="ellafella"]It's a long old season that has hardly got going really. Physically the Championship is hugely taxing so squad size and injuries have a massive impact. As many of us have already voiced, a long-term injury to Martin (God forbid!) or Bryson (God forbid) and we will falter.
The statistics can guide but they will only "explain" some of the variance in league positions.
I've seen all home league games this season and a couple of away games. Of the teams I've seen, none really stood out performance-wise in terms of matching the quality of passing football that we can produce. BUT for me Cardiff looked strong (ie good players not performing ) and will probably get much better as the season progresses and the gloom lifts from their recent management changeover.
Fulham also look to be able to turn the corner.
I was also impressed with Ipswich, who I tipped pre-season to be "up there". They are very difficult to beat.
I don't think the

No I said and week in week out out up AT THE TIME we weren't picking up points against teams that were occupying the top six places. It was FACT.
THE FACT that in the last few weeks some of those changed and once outside became top six.
I said were did not have the creativity to break down the better more organised teams. As it proved at Wembley to the letter!!! You just need to handle it rapi I was right. You can lie and try and make it up as much as you like but I was proved correct and you know it. You need to relax and just accept it![]()
