Pullis appeared on Sportsworld on Saturday alongside the match commentator for Chelsea v QPR. When asked about the possibility of taking over at a number of Prem clubs, notably Sunderland, Villa and Burnley, he remained coy, but clearly there's already talk about him taking over as soon as 1 of those clubs sack the manager.

And of course QPR, which looks likely that 'arry will be axed in the not so distant future.

But the plus side is that we are creating chances, eventually this will bear fruit. The questions are: how long is Fawaz prepared to let things continue and whether Pearce can arrest the slide?
