    Arouna Kone Will Not Be Leaving Everton On Loan



    Kone not going out on loan.


    Arouna Kone will not be leaving Everton on loan to help with his match fitness.

    The 30-year-old has been out of the first team picture since October of last year when he picked up a nasty knee injury which ruined his £6m move from Wigan.

    He quickly disappeared from the minds of most Evertonians, and was written off as just a waste of a transfer fee.

    Boss Roberto Martinez said last week that they would be trying to line up some friendlies for Kone and Bryan Oviedo, another long term injury victim, to play in so they could build up their fitness levels.

    If he can return to the form he had shown under Roberto Martinez for Wigan, he will prove to be an excellent option alongside Romelu Lukaku and Samuel Eto'o.

    He scored 13 goals in 38 appearances for Wigan, after previously impressing for the likes of Levante and Seville in Spain.

    Need him off the wage bill to be honest. He's never going to hit full fitness while an Everton player. Reckon we should give young Hallam Hope a few run outs instead.
