    Atsu: Chelsea players recommended move to Everton.


    Evertons' newest signings Christian Atsu has revealed that Chelsea players advised him to join The Toffees.

    The 22-year-old arrived at Everton at the start of the season, joining on a season-long loan.

    The Ghanaian international has not really sparked since he made the switch despite the confidence of manager Roberto Martinez.

    “After the World Cup, when I came back to Chelsea they told me of Evertons' interest." Said the Ghanaian winger.

    “I told them Everton were a great Club and I would prefer to play for them".

    “I think Everton is a great Club with a great manager and they try to play football, which is very important for me".

    “When I was training with Chelsea a lot of the players told me Everton is a great Club".

    “I have been here for sometimes now and I am so happy with the players, with everyone. I have had warm wishes from fans on social networks as well, so I am very happy".

    I'd be happy on that much money running along the wide line for 15 minutes every two weeks.

    Might just be lack of game time or whatever but I've seen flashes in the pan and that's it.
