    Birmingham v Cardiff (Cardiff POV)

    Alright guys,

Expect I'll get stick for this, but what the hell.

I submitted about half of a book reflecting on my time as a Cardiff fan over the years to a Welsh publisher. They were interested, but wanted instead for me to keep a blog of the season. The blog is a mix of matchday reports, plus pieces that look back over the years.

Here's my piece written following the Birmingham game.

    All the best,

    Nick

You see the game from your side of things and we see it from ours. You have no idea of the sheite we've had to put up with here with our faceless owners running the ship from the other side of the world bleeding this club dry. The heart has been ripped out of this club so you may get an idea as to why the fans enthusiasm is a little tepid.

Fair play. To be honest, in terms of atmosphere at the ground, things have not been good at Cardiff since moving to the new ground, and that was before Tan. What's sad though is that it's not purely the stadium at fault - there's been a good buzz down there at the recent Wales games for example.

Take a look at this post though if you like -

This one describes how things were for our recent 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in the Cup. The first half was same as ever, very subdued. They went 3-0 up, and that would usually be an excuse to continue staying quiet. But for once, a good number of supporters just thought what the hell and then just sang throughout the entire second half. Sometimes, even when things are bad, you might as well just say **** it and try to still enjoy yourself! You're paying good money to be there after all - why be miserable?

    Good report.

It is funny how different fans see it.

Considering what a big/ quality squad Cardiff have, certainly compared to our Bosman United, you were rather poor.

As for the crowd, well again rather quite compared to say Bournemouth.
