    Buses at Hibs game

Had some bad luck yesterday with the Bazaar one going on fire I hear and the punters on it not getting home until 10.30 while one of the Travel Club coaches also had problems and had to transfer some of the fans to another coach before leaving the capital - it eventually limped home (slowly) but not a very nice trip hame as passengers had to put up with horrible fumes coming from the engine - the perils of following the team close to our hearts eh !

The travel club bus "limped home" approximately 10 minutes behind our one.The one that we transfered to.If anything it was our one that "limped" with a driver seemingly unaware that you can travel faster than 25mph on the Biggar road.
Another point regarding the buses. Why no police around the area were they were parked after the game?A crowd of wee Hibee bampots launching pebbles at the buses etc.I was half expecting bricks/bottles lobbed as we drove off.Thankfully this never happened, but surely these wee ****s do this with every support and dibble are bound to know?
Regarding the game...Point gained in a snoozefest!Defence rock solid though.
JR and eugene bring up good points in that Queens are now better than we were not too long ago and undeniably Hibs are nowhere near as strong a team nowadays.
However, long gone are the days when even a poor Hibs team would be expected to maul a (what then would be reckoned to be) a good Queens side.
    Onwards and upwards.MON THE SOUTH!
    As an aside

I don't know what Travel Club bus you were on but there was no sign of "wee Hibee bampots" throwing pebbles or anything at the one I was on. It's unfortunate that one of the buses had mechanical problems but from a personal point of view it was a good, incident-free day out which was only spoiled by the dire of game of f

Seems the Queens buses on Saturday were jinxed as the Barflies QOS Supporters Club one developed a mechanical fault so they had to head for Easter Road courtesy of the Devorgilla Doonhamers transport.

It would appear that you were on Janes' bus which was parked further up the road.
In no way am I making this out to be a big deal as the clowns involved were only a dozen or so 13/14 year olds? But I find it surprising that there were no police etc.involved in what could have escalated into something more serious.

I take on board your point that these things can escalate and can potentially ruin a good day out but it probably depends on the number of times such incidents are reported if the police think they should be present
