    Glenn Murray

Crystal palace striker Glenn Murray linked with a £3.5m move to the rams according to some of today's tabloid trash

Good player who would be a welcome addition but certainly not at that price. £600,000 tops

very wide of the mark. he'd be a cracking replacement for martin but why would he want to come here to sit on the bench? he's better than that. and as if we'd pay that kind of money for someone who wouldn't be a guaranteed starter.

if we were interested I'd say we'd look to take him on loan between January-end of season and then pay 3.5m only if we get promoted as 3.5 is peanuts in the prem!

It is peanuts in the prem but we still have to keep on a steady financial footing and murray is no way worth that kind of money

I'd have him for 1 million. Would make me stop worrying about Martin.

I literally sit at work ticking off the training days and then constantly checking Twitter for the line-up on match day. The thought of Best appearing in the 11 makes me shudder.

Don't get me started on if he plays tonight or not. It's literally ruining my day.

If he starts, then i'm going to force myself to go to sleep. It passes the time quicker and stops me worrying. Plus, me going to sleep early will make someone in Americas day go faster, cos those 2 hours will pass so fast, so will their time at work. That's how it works, no?

From Championship players I've seen recently, Murray looks the closet to Martin in terms of style, tho I've not seen a lot of him.

    £3.5m Hahahahah. No

here's a chilling thought...maybe he could be lined up as a replacement!

what a naughty thought. the fact is we'd really struggle to keep hold of martin if a big ish prem club came in for him and like togs says he's the best alternative available for martin.

still, I doubt a club would come in with the minerals needed and I'd back sam rush to keep his man anyway.
