Got **** all service and when taken off Scotland's front line was non-existent. Poor tactics.

His abilities are wasted / not suited to their play. He played a lovely turn & pass on the edge of the D which took out 3 defenders only for his colleague to fall over, and a lovely pass off his chest to an oncoming colleague, who again flumped it.

Unfortunately he got zero service as the Scottish wingers look at the floor and Scotland were over-run in midfield.

Absolutely. You need your midfield playing passes in around the D for Martin to deliver. Bryson on would have been interesting because those two read each other's game very well. Somebody ought to tell the wise-crackin' Strachan how to pick a side and play football. Scotland's game was all huff and puff and no real guile. which even England can cope with. Huff n puff and hoof is so 1970's.

Martin needed Anya to get to the byline and pull some balls back, Clyne was just way too good for him.
