Nolan not only starting today but lasting the whole game is a very depressing thing to see.
Carroll and Nolan did nothing all game, only time Nolan moved was to try and influence the referee.

I'd prefer to keep Carroll. But Nolan and Vaz Te should be sold.
Nolan's not even worth a place on the bench but BFS seems hell-bent on proving a point.
The only point he'll prove is everyone else's who sees Nolan as past it, albeit capable with a short run of performances (perhaps 2 from 12 games or so).

It's going to be sad to watch Sakho & Valencia becoming 2nd choice to Carroll , Cole or Nolan .
I'm hoping that yesterday's team wasn't BFS plan B , & it was just a case of injuries .
