What perhaps didn't quite come over in the Player Ratings was just how brilliant Derby were in the opening 20 minutes against Brighton. Derby were actually unplayable having seen the League Show highlights. The passing and movement was exhilarating to watch and the 28.5 crowd (hardly any Seagulls) were treated to fast free-flowing total football.

The Grauniad pick out CM as the architect and chief assassin saying Martin’s ability not only to hold the ball up but to play progressive passes to midfielders running in makes him the best target man in the Championship, especially when factoring in his 14 goals to date..

I know Brighton are no great shakes under Hyppia {I think time's up for him} but Derby were quite brilliant in that first 20. If we play like that against other teams there's no doubt in my mind that we will go up automatically. We were that good. Can't wait for the next game and we'll soon have the Red Dogs in town {mouth waters}. - [url=http://www.the

Yep, it'll be nice to be underdogs for a change with nothing to lose.

It'll be a nice day out for you but please don't start fighting amongst yourselves after the game like last time. You know what the Judge said.

If we play with that tempo and intensity we are unbeatable at Championship level.

Since Derby has hardly anything else to recommend it, it is only right that you should have success at something, but spare a thought for us it'll hardly be a nice day out even if we win.

As a Sheffield Steelers fan as well as a Ram I would just like to point out that the Steelers beat Nottingham last night and are also above them in the league. No joy for Nottingham there either.

What something like a state of the art Velodrome? Now that would be nice
