    Have Sheffield United made progress under Clough?

    Both McClaren and Clough have been at their respective clubs a similar amount of time. Both clubs are higher up the league than when they took over but as we all know moving from 14th to 1st is no indicator of progress.

    What do you mean by progress? Sheff arehigher up the league than when Nigel joined them and the crowd are obviously seeing more exciting football. However Div 1 is weeker than last year and somewhat surprisingly the teams they play aren't the same as they played before he became manager.
