    Best, Sammon, Potential Situation

Firstly apologies for the lack of ratings Saturday. I watched the game in York and had copious amounts of beer, meaning my ratings would have been messy, much like our defending.

Anyway onto my point. It's a hypothetical situation, but one that could well come true.

IF Leon Best continues to misfire all season

IF Martin got a knock (God help us)

IF Ipswich remain challengers for promotion

    Should we recall Mr. Sammon?

We'd be directly harming a potential promotion rival by taking away one of their strikers, whilst potentially improving our own chances. Yes, it would cost us, but if it was the difference between promotion and missing out, it'd be a drop in the ocean.

    Thoughts?

If it's a season long loan I don't think you can recall him unless you have a injury crisis.so I don't think you can use best misfiring as a reason for getting him back.that is unless you have a clause in the loan stating you can recall him with a set amount of notice.
Wouldn't it be better to just loan someone in who is a good player?

You can always cancel a loan, but you would be fined as it would be breaching the initial agreement, or so I believe.

As for loaning someone else, that takes away from the point of weakening Ipswich, a potential promotion rival. This is, of course, hypothetical.

Taking sammon back to weaken an opponent,iv heard it all now.
Seriously tho is he really worth bringing back?
Wouldn't the other club have to agree to the cancelation?

I'm sure we can cancel and just pay the fine. I'm not saying I'm necessarily okay with the proposition, I'm just asking what others think, as it could become a very real, and viable situation.

Sammon is head and shoulders better than Best! I'm thinking Best is becoming the worst player to wear a Rams shirt! Absolute puddin'!

I think it would help your chances if you left him be.would he want to come back and would his mind be on the job?think of all the chances he will miss that would help Ipswich gain points!

I'd look at it from a different angle D_D. however good Ipswich are doing they'd probably be doing better without sammon! so I'd leave agent conor where he is in the knowledge that he'll balls in up for them sooner or later

Really can't see how you reach that conclusion when the guy has hardly played, he needs games before any sort of judgement can be made.

Even then there are many who played a whole raft of games for the club who were worse!
