    Plan B

    Hello All
Everyone keeps saying we need a plan B when all these sides keep closing us down and stop us playing our passing game. Any suggestions as to what plan B ought to be.

Simple- when things are not working go 4 -4 -2
This will stop us getting overun and martin gets help with russell playing next to him.
Wish we would try it against birmingham.
    They will be no pushover.
They are currently very strong in midfield.
Hope steve will see the light...

We should stop trying to pass the ball and just hoof it down the pitch, it will suit all of our big tall physical players, because that's our strength bruv innit?

In all seriousness, a luxury player who can score out of nothing would help with this. Bamford scored us a good few points last season.

Depending on injuries and suspensions I would like to switch to three centre backs ( bucko) in after suspension. Drop forsyth. Wing backs of Christie and dawkins. Midfield Eustace, Omar , hughes ( don't know extent of bryson and Hendrick injury). Two up top johnny and Chris.

Seems to be a lot of mystery surrounding Eustace at min.

Think this system will stop us getting over run in the middle and create more space at the back so we don't give ball away as cheap as in recent weeks.
It doesn't however take away any attacking flair that we might have going forward.
It will let players know that they have to earn a place to play for Derby with plenty of options on the bench and maybe being less predictable when making subs

It looks like there is no plan b or is clearly isn't working.

McClaren has a transfer window to address his major frailties and put something in place or you have to start to worry.

Be good to get Jamie Ward back. we then have 4 quality wide players to pick from. Hopefully cant have 4 out of form players in those positions all at same time

I would be interested to see if reintroducing Eustace brings a change in results. Wonder if we miss some leadership and organisation he brings, even if he lacks some of the other qualities that Omar brings to the team?

Oh for the day in new year when big George is back!

What replace players the previous manager bought. I thought they were good enough. Curse now look what you've made me do.

Surely you mean Clough's major frailties if your talking about replacing players?

These major frailties have resulted in us being 5th, above teams like Norwich, Florest, Wigan, Brighton I for one aint worrying at all!
