Interesting links there - both are known for their quality, especially Ben Marshall who has played well against us on more than one occasion - might he be a long term replacement for Jamie Ward given his injury record?
Huth has always been a solid defender, although has recently spent almost a year out with a knee injury. I wonder if he would move on loan to regain fitness? Does he play on the right or the left?

Yes please to Huth. He is what we are lacking, a no nonsense defender who is good in the air. Possibly lacks a bit of pace and composure but will head every ball and be an asset in both boxes at set pieces.

No to Ben Marshall, he seems to be an out and winger which we don't play with. Our wide players have the ability to cut inside and join the central positions. Good player but not what we need.

Well one of our problems is that the wide men do tend to cut inside, rather than go down the outside and get a cross in, so maybe Steve is looking at changing things a little???

Beat me to it. Wide wingers is exactly what we miss this season. Forsyth used to cross well from wide positions without trying to cut in.
Ibe cuts in and often looses the ball. Dawkins the same.

Huth is a douchebag but I would love him here, he'd sort our defence right out. No nonsense and all presence.
