There was a debate about a year ago over whether the club would become a private limited company.
I don't know if they actually went ahead with it, but if they did, they're not obliged to publish the accounts.
This time last year the accounts were made public knowledge. Now considering we have not supposedly made the massive losses of recent seasons, otherwise we would im assuming be penalised by the FFP rules like wovers. Now the club appear reluctant to let us know the supposed good news. Are there dodgy goings on,with garty and his bumchum davies,am I alone in thinking something stinks here![]()

Fair point there danm.Maybe someone will confirm it.
I think that they have to publish something in order to show compliance with FFP but not sure if it's the whole accounts. We'll never be privy to what really goes on behind the scenes regarding Eddie's money.
I think you're right Dan I seem to remember that announcement. I wonder did they do that to stop the media constantly harping on about it or is it because they want to hide aspects of the accounts from the public eye.Originally Posted by danm1992

I don't think there's many benefits of the club putting the accounts out there at the moment. Let's face it, no sane investor would look at any of the last seven or eight reports and fancy getting a piece of the action.
As Jimmy says though, surely the club has to provide something to the FA for the purposes of FFP. It can't be that easy to get round.
Personally, I think ED sees all the attention as bad for business and wants a stop putting to it. Wh
Burnden Leisure are a PLC and Bolton are 100% owned by them.
This means that they don't have to publish their accounts.
Davies owns 94.5% of the shares
Point taken zeke, but again I ask the question re FFP.
Some financial figures will surely have to be published/stated in order to comply. If not the full accounts then top-line details to say how we failed or succeeded in complying?
