    What does not sinister mean ? Not being brought in to help Simmo when Mac goes to Newcastle ?

    I can only presume that's what he was getting at. For me this sounds like good news. Why appoint one of McClaren's old buddies unless he is staying?

    The connection with these two is they knew each other in the 80 s when they played at derby worked together at boro and he had round as part of the england set up.

    Suprised me it wasn't sooner but the role at manure was probably the reason.

    Knew roundy in his younger day. Was a nice grounded lad back then.

    didn't round manage our reserves when mac was assistant to jim smith?
