From what he said it also looked like he could be considered part of the main squad. When asked if he was one for the future Steve said 'Well he has been playing first team football in the Eredivise'.
Mind all development players have the chance if they do well I suppose

This may actually be a bigger signing than people think.

Reading up on him, he played for Chelsea's U21 Premier League winning side as a regular starter at RB despite only being 17, as well as playing in all there european games.

He then left Chelsea on his own accord to find first team football. He's started the majority of Breda's Eredivisie games so has decent experience for his age. It seems as if he's here to offer real competition for Christie...

It wouldn't surprise me if he was possibly being looked at as cover for John Eustace as a defensive midfielder either
