OK we didn't beat them as convincingly as we should have done and, in the end were relieved to snatch a late winner, but we hit the post, there were numerous great saves by their keeper and they had a couple of decent chances themselves.

Whilst frustrating, and disappointing in many respects, I thought it was an entertaining game with several highlights but maybe I'm easier pleased than some.

Good post. And we also learnt that some of our back-up players fall a bit short. Dawkins really needs to improve his end product ; Best is useless even when given a start etc. But at least some of the key players had a rest and Mac was not afraid to make a triple substitution to get a result.

Completely agree, with 9 changes made the style of football was never going to be as quick and fluid as were used to. Also 27 shots... Their keeper made at least 2-3 top quality saves. Although the crowd were getting frustrated and pressure building to get the result, I'm pleased we carried on playing right to the final whistle and didn't get drawn into a long ball game.
