    Mascarell to start vs. Forest

    Surely?

Eustace suspended and Thorne not yet ready.

Not really a bad thing for me. If Forest play like they have been in their last 15+ games, Omar could come in and have a Wolves-esque game.

Think we are stuck with him, Eustace has been instrumental in our recent run, 3 clean sheets no coincidence.

He's too light weight for me and lacks the bravery and aggression a holding mid should have. A weak link imo

Or Shotton if we want to be more solid. Tricky to call. Forest haven't exactly been good lately. But then local derbies are often fast and frenetic.. Not sure that's right for Mascarell. Big decision to make.

I'm sure he'll go with Mascarell. Eusatce warrants his place in the side, but we can still gain something from Mascarell in the side. It's important to remember how well he was playing not too long ago. Against a Forest team, where we should be on the front foot for the majority of it, I reckon he could do a job.

Very true. Buxton also deserves credit here!

    I Disagree.

Think it's lazy journalism to say he's lightweight. He is maybe less aggressive than Eustace, and not as defensively astute, but he's not a push-over.

It will really depend which Forest turn up. If they are as lack lustre as recently then it should be us on the front foot and Omar's strengths will come into play.

Maybe we'll throw a surprise and start with Bent and Martin in a 4-4-2, and not have a dCM

I can't see us diverting from our system that's worked so well in the last 3. That said, if Bent did start, it would certainly be good to see how our midfield coped in a 4. Still, I can't see it.

I can't either, TBH, but SMcdid hint that we may start the games in 4-4-2 occasionly and then revert to 4-3-3 later in games. Eustace being out will pos mean we'll consider it

Well he was playing when we got 6 clean sheets on the bounce so he can't be that bad, Eustace was found wanting due to pace and being out of position more than a few times today, hence his two yellow cards.
