    Stephen Warnock's Character

Interviewed about his Leeds exit, Stephen Warnock explained:

[i]I went in there under Neil Warnock and he lasted about two or three months, which was a shame. Then Brian McDermott came in and deemed me surplus to requirements, but I ended up forcing my way into the team", Warnock continued.

"We got to January and I was deemed surplus to requirements again and then forced my way back into the team again."

And the 33-year-old explained that Cellino wanted to offload him over the summer, only for then-Leeds manager Hockaday to insist he stayed put.

"This year David Hockaday stood my ground against the chairman and wanted me to be involved. I think the chairman was quite happy to let me move on at the time. He fought my corner and gave me a chance, and hopefully I proved he was right to do that.

"I've enjoyed it. It's been emotional. It's been up and down, but I've got fond memories and I met a lot of nice people at the club", he added, with no hard feelings.

Seemingly he was also not happy with Cellino's edict that all players must live in or close to Leeds as he lives in Liverpool.

    Tidy signing IMO

I firmly believe that the signing of Warnock, Bent &, hopefully Albentosa will ensure our path to "The Promised Land".

We will basically have enough talent to field two teams that would both be competitive in the Championship... When was the last time we could say that?
I also don't think Bournemouth will be a factor at seasons end.

You are the third poster, at least, to state that they think Bournemouth will drop away.

I really don't see this as on the cards at the mo?

Let's hope Warnock adds to the dressing room and isn't a leader too many.

Bournemouth, could do a Burnley and be successful (and lucky with injuries) however, it will be interesting to see how they cope with losing at home to Norwich, if they bounce back from that then I'd say they will be top 6 come May, but for me us and Norwich are the likely top 2 teams , with Boro also strong candidates.

The pattern will become clearer over the next few weeks, but irrespective of what other teams do, its in our own hands, keep getting the points and we will be fine.

    Fingers crossed!!!

I can't figure it out either togs. Bournemouth have been brilliant all season and showed no signs of easing up. Ipswich on the other hand have looked distinctly average in their past 2 games.

in addition to us signing Darren bent and Warnock (2 ex England internationals) along with this top Spanish players Ipswich have signed...Fredd
