Mark Kerr did not have a problem with J.T.
I wondered when Kerr said it was someone who he thought had nothing to do with the football side at Queens.
It was someone very close to J.T. who has nothing to do with the football side who seems to have caused the problems

You might be a expert at driving a car for 40 years but it doesn't mean you will be a good driving instructor.

JT is a decent bloke, Queens through and through but imo i wouldn't want him on the management team.
totally agree with you JT nice guy maybe loyal now but I can mind he left us to go down a level for (money) some may say cant blame him? look at players now they are taking pay cuts to try and save a club that's loyalty!

In your dealings with JT, what has led you to this opinion?

Lack of managerial experience, nothing to do with him as a person.

IMO if you have a rookie manager you want a experienced number 2 for a good formula like what we had with Alan Johnston. To have a inexperienced manager and a inexperienced assistant is just asking for trouble. Ok when the goings good but when the pressure kicks in, that's when it would tell..

For a change you're quite correct Northfield53 . Big Jim wasn't the problem , the non football person Kerr was talking about is the Queens kitman , who just happens to be one of JT's best mates .

Man up apologise or reveal where you got the dribble from . That's enough from me for the minute.

Nip across to the Pie & Bovril site and you'll see a Palmerston volunteer ( SD ) reveal exactly who Kerr's comments were aimed at .

Read that comment from big Lithgow (SD) mate and maybe I am reading it wrong but to me it comes across that the assistant manager Jim Thomson has nothing to do with the first team ?

Here is the statement from SD - Punters can perhaps draw their own conclusions.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the Mark Kerr scenario, it absolutely was Jim Thomson he was referring to in that quote and he meant nothing to do with the football side in first team terms. Suggestions that it was someone else are way wide of the mark.

Here, here Francis! it is time to draw a line in the sand and move on.

Too many of us have been concerning ourselves with an alleged conversation which took place between two professional footballing people behind closed doors.

The title of this thread suggests that something isn't right, - too damned right! Here we are sitting fourth in the league with a game in hand over Hibs, within touching distance of Rangers, just a whisker ahead of Falkirk and still in the Scottish Cup with a home match against Premiership opposition to look forward to, and the club announcing that they are in the black, - one of the very few clubs in the country to do so, and some people are worried about the actual content of an alleged conversation?

Stop acting like old gossiping women and get a life!

It's over, finito, gone, end of. Next topic please!
