    New Transfer Record?

Apparently at the Q and A last night, it was revealed Albentosa had signed and would be done today/ tomorrow before the game, and we were set to break the transfer record.

Who do you think it is/ will be?

    Bamford?
    Cork?
    Redomnd?
Or someone in the Dutch league, maybe?

Also, re you comfortable spending large amounts of money again. Do you feel the way we've gone about it the last 4 or 5 years has worked, so why spend big again?

Is that what was said? Exciting.

Maybe Castaignos, or Necid or maybe even McCormack. They are thes that have been mentioned in the past as well as Troy Deeney.

Given the players McLaren can get for under 500k, I would be very excited to see who he gets for 3.5 million plus.

Albentosa is a low risk buy for me. Could have a gem, if not, at £500k hardly broken bank and could possibly recoup that anyway. Lets hope he's a proper player and not a "Calvin Wilson" or "Calamity Claude"

Not heard anything of another major transfer - what is the Q&A you mention and who commented on this Dave?

It's what someone has posted on another forum. Seems legitimate to me. We'll have to wait and see. Was at BMW, apparently.

Part 1 of the claim will be found out in the next 24 hours.

Part 2 makes me think Mel Morris might be behind it, if it's true.

We did go after McCormack (sp) when the offers were at around 5 million.

I suspect it's Gray from Brum to replace Ibe.

I guessed as such. I dont expect DCFC to suddenly blow FFP out of the water. You dont go from well run to reckless overnight, not even with the big prize in our sights

I expect another loan in to fill the gap left by Ibe. Shteeve to pull out another gem with his contacts
