If Dundee Utd play as they did tonight they will easily take four of us. St Mirren at least had bottle and guts and were unlucky not to get all 3.
Nothing new in the dreadfully poor result or performance. For too long now Motherwell managers have used this fixture to rest players who are not 100% fit. This result will not shape our season. St Mirren and Ross County now have to face Celtic again before the split, we don't.
All that said I was disappointed at the very defensive teak line up and it was no surprise that we were put under so much pressure.
Out of interest how did Luke Watt fare? .
No thatgame technically wont shape our season but scoring 14 goals and shipping 42 with zero sign of improvement will. St Mirrens tails will be up and I can assure you on the evidence of their play today and at the weekend they will take the p1ss outta us. Frankly they have been the better team in our two previous meetings , we look like Maurice Malpas's team we are that bad..Hard to tell who players are on streamed broadcasts so cant say too much about Watt.Originally Posted by Wellup4it

Ross County are still 6 points behind us, although they have games in hand. When did St Mirren last win at home?Originally Posted by steviex
All that said we have to up our game and not rely on others.
It may very well be that we don't have to go to Parkhead again for a number of years because we are hurtling toward the drop with a squad devoid of quality, fitness and motivation. The latter seems to be the biggest problem we have, half of them just don't seem to give a f"ck, there's just nothing there to suggest we will drag ourselves out of this mess.Originally Posted by jwok
Six matches that Bara has been in charge, of which three have had results worse than not turning up.
This is starting to become a serious red neck, and actually worse than when McCall was in charge. How any of the players are going to continue playing football in the summer i can't fathom as they currently look worse than a pub team.
I never expected anything tonight but its the way we are losing thats depressing as never seem to learn anything from previous games
