Like all 3 players but none good enough for this side now so the move should help all parties concerned!

Coutts and Brayford teaming up again should make league 1 defences afraid. Good signings for utd. Sad to see Coutts go though. Top bloke.

Nigel sure likes signing players he has worked with before!!!

Doubt that theres any of that fee from Brayford as we got £2.5 million for him. Says a lot if he couldn't hack it at cardiff in the championship!

Coutts OK but clearly no place in our midfield for him this season, surprised a championship club hasn't come in for him.

freeman well always a league 1 player for me.

Oh the abuse I received for saying Brayford wasn't that good and I laughed when people said he would play for England! Told you he wasn't pl standard but no I was constantly told I knew nothing.

But apparently I say everything clough did was perfect. Short memories again hey!

The interesting thing here swale is you kept telling us how clough had bad man management skills and most of the players hated him...I haven't forgotten that! But they keep going back to work for him don't they!!!!

All tidy players at the level.

Brayford needs Clough's arm around him to perform; Nigel likes players around him he knows.

Although he is a good player, Rats maybe right, he's not good enough for the top level.

Freeman and Coutts will do well at Sheffield United.

Jaw hits the floor... Thank you slasher!

This kinda links to the other thread about motivation. Is clough a good motivator but not organised if some are to be believed?

What makes you think he couldn't hack it at Cardiff he was a regular in the team and most of their fans rated him for what it's worth I didn't think he cut it in the prem but league 1 is way below him can't believe we got him back, freeman has found his level now although the fact he wouldn't come to us in the summer is a negative for him, looking forward to seeing coutts should be more than good enough for our league

Well your memorys a bit awry then! Though thats nothing new as you have shown that in other posts! Susbstitute "some" for "most" and you'd be nearly right!

FACT No 1 Clough had a public falling out with a number of players

FACT No 2 he publicly criticised a number of players

FACT No 3 None of those players have gone back to him!!!

Wow I'm impressed, you correctly predicted that Brayford wasn't good enough for the prem, I am impressed!
