    Boro The Ones To Watch

Watching Middleborough last night, admittedly only highlights, I can see them getting one of the automatic promotion places. They have a solid defence including Ayala, could still do with him. The key though is Bamford, playing down the middle, should definitely have kept him.

They are a competent team, but no better than us or most around, their strength is defence, Norwich seem determined to stay in this division, which given the players they have is a puzzle, but then chopping and changing managers does not help!

Seen a few posts recently suggesting Boro are physical with a good defence. I've only seen them against Derby and City and they looked useful going forward. That Tomlin looks a decent player and Karanka has them well set up.

Be interesting on see how many sides are noted as the ones to watch in the next few months.

I agree that Boro are one to watch, not only do they play good football, but they have a real buzz about them and are full of confidence.

It's going to be tight, Boro, Bournemouth ourselves and Norwich pitting it out for auto promotion. A harder league this year than last, the quality seems to be a lot higher.

It's good to be in it.

    Norwich or Ipswich??

I think all the top teams are going to have inconsistency. Case of who holds their nerve the best and which squad is the deepest!

I actually think Ipswich are the most consistent of the top teams on what I have seen. Boro like us will dazzle on their day, but have the ability to drop performance level the next week!
