Probably the last thing the manager needs right now is someone spouting a lot of rubbish from the sidelines. I know it's frustrating at the moment but I don't think that helps the situation any.

Our best for a while. United weren't 'lucky to win', but the game could easily have turned out differently. They certainly didn't play us off the park this time! We were competitive and were able to launch more than the odd attack. Pearson could make all the difference; Erwin got past his man often enough; we actually had chances!
Whether or not we 'scored' I wouldn't know - we were all at the wrong end of the park - but the restart appeared farcical. Can a ref really tell a team not to compete - it wasn't our fault that he changed his mind; it's not as if the ball had been kicked out of play to deal with an injury. And can a goalie just pick up a dropped ball?
On a more negative note, we have a 'supporter' who seems intent on hurling abuse at our manager. I've seen it three times now at away games, going back to McCall's time. It really is vituperative, foul, and goes well beyond anything that could be explained by 'football is a game of passion'. People swearing out of anger or disap

Just watched the highlights of the game again and think there are some positive signs in our play at long last.Keeper has had flak recently and probably rightly so,but 1st and 3rd goals Carswell tracks his man without so much as putting a leg or his body in the road, this is becoming a recurring theme with him, which again resulted in the ball in the back of your net on both occaisions.
I've not rated carswell for a number of months now, and certainly would not renew his contract at the summer time.
Another who really frustrates the life out of me is kerr. Watch the first goal and he spins round to almost jump out the way of the ball! Bloomin' well stay where you are and take it like a man so its blocked! But my favorite is the third goal, where he runs about chasing the ball down like a school boy instead of getting into position and playing as part of a organised back four. Reid was quite clearly on the utd player and it didn't need kerr in the same place leaving a big gap!!
