Reid All About It. Everton Join Race For West Ham Defender?

    Defender chase on for Everton.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is believed to be interested in West Ham Utds' in-demand centre-half Winston Reid.

The New Zealand international is out of contract in the summer and, despite the Hammers' wish to keep him, he would appear to be on his way after turning down offers of a new deal.

Spurs are ready to offer him the £60,000-a-week which he apparently wants as well as a hefty signing-on fee but they look set for a battle to land their target.

Arsenal are said to be preparing a £3m offer for Reid this month and that would be a test for the Hammers who will get nothing for him if he were to leave in the summer.

Everton have now thrown their hat into the ring and Liverpool have also been linked.
