    Both were pens

After watching highlights on sportscene i am certainly sticking to my opinion that their was seeds of recovery on saturday. We created more chances than we have this year put together and if Pearson could have finished off a decent display with more composure and scored early 2nd half or set up Sutton better end of 1st half re disallowed goal or Thomson done his job and gave the 2 stonewall pens 1st half then could have been different outcome. Every other game this year we have been shocking and deserved nothing and created nothing but even though still lost i have more hope that we can turn it round but come Saturday that might change again but hopefully we can take something from that then we have 2 week break to clear up some injuries then the big 1 at ross county.

Yes, both were stick on penalties. However over the years its proved very very difficult to win spot kicks at Tannadice.

Still we must move on. Hopefully we have a better game plan than St Mirren's "We're doing well its all the fault of referees".

Admittedly, refereeing standards are currently abysmal but if they want to pursue this avenue of complaint then they are going the wrong way about it.

Dundee United have certainly enjoyed good fortune against us this season - a perfectly good goal against them chalked off at Fir Park and now 2 stonewall penalties not given last Saturday. However we take it on the chin and move on.

and all 3 , yes 3, goals against were goals against. All the window dressing in the world doesn't change that killing fact. Frankly we are now in need of some lucky wins never mind another heavy defeat with pretty patterns thrown in.

I agree just need to move on though st mirrens case not helped by their captain saying last night on sportscene once again that 1st goal was definitely onside so their complaining about a decision that was right lol
