Really excited to hear that yet a little frightening too.
Hope all goes well for him and us as he is talent we've missed!

He will play 45 minutes tomorrow for the u-21's
That is great news. We all look forward to seeing him back to first team.

I feel sure the medical staff would not let him participate if he didn't meet a certain criteria. Onward & upward George!!!
Awful lot of pressure being piled on George's return it seems. It would be wise not to expect too much this season. With luck he'll be able to operate at full capacity by April, but he has a lot of catching up to do.
George is a confident lad. He believes once fit he'll take the team to another level.Originally Posted by hantsram
He's also a level-headed lad, who knows it won't be instant. He comes across very well in interviews, so I think if he comes out and asks for patience from the fans, he'll certainly get it.

I do think there are some unrealistic expectations in a young player.
Other question is this is the second time this a happened ... is he up to the rigours of football?
GT played 45 mins in 7-1 win against Stoke U21 this afternoon.
George played the 1st half. Rams lead 2-1 at HT. Goals from Koblenz (2), Thomas (2), Guy, Bujanku, McDonald.
Thomas, Santos and Calero all played despite being on loan at Notts C and Burton.
can I ask an honest question rats do you support derby because every post you put on here gets people to really think your not a derby fan . I give up with you I wonder how we get you removed as a mod .?
