Our Strongest XI when everyone's fit?

Really tough one this. We haven't seen some of the new signings but what would our stronest XI plus bench be?

    Grant
    Christie
    Keogh (C)
    Buxton
    Forsyth

    Thorne
    Hughes
    Bryson

    Russell
    Martin
    Ward

    Subs:
    Roos
    Albentosa
    Warnock
    Ince
    Hendrick
    Bent
    Shotton

No space for Lingard nor Eustace nor Bennett. Crikey!

Wheres Mascarell? Strangely I was just having a coffee and pondering both this and what the line up will be on Saturday...

    My first choice would be

    Grant
    Warnock
    Buxton
    Albentosa
    Christie

    Thorne
    Hughes
    Bryson
    Russell

    Ince
    Martin

    However for Saturday

    Grant
    Shotton
    Keough
    Bucko
    Forsyth

    Hughes
    Hendrick
    Mascarell
    Ince
    Ward

    Martin

re: Our Strongest XI when everyone's fit?

Surely this was a better and stronger team

    Stephen Bywater
    Tyrone Mears
    Dean Lea****
    Darren Moore
    Jay McEveley
    Craig Fagan
    Matt Oakley
    Seth Johnson
    Stephen Pearson
    Steve Howard
    Paul Peschisolido

    Substitutes:
    Lee Camp
    Marc Edworthy
    David Jones
    Giles Barnes
    Jon Macken

How many of these (in their prime) would you like in our current squad

    Which was the better team?

It just shows how good this team is and why Mears wanted out!

I'd only be interested in Seth Johnson in his prime to add to our current side and maybe Stevie Howard in the form he was that season as back up for Martin

    Yes

    Grant

Christie. Keogh Albentosa (on reputation) Forsyth

    Hendrick Thorne Bryson

    Hughes

    Martin Russell

Not including loans, if I did then maybe Bent in for JR or Hughes dropping back to replace Hendrick and Martin into the hole and Bent JR up top

Hi, thought it was about time to chip in with my occasional views on things seeing as I'm reading all of yours every day!!!

Firstly, I just want to say how impressed I am with the Club's business over January. Even if it doesn't work out as we all hope it is just nice to have faith in the ambitions of the current management set up.

    Anyway, back on topic...

I think the Strongest XI is dependent on which formation we are running with. If 4-3-3 as we'd expect I'd say

    Grant
    Christie Keogh Albentosa Forsyth
    Thorne
    Hughes Hendrick (on current form)
    Russell Martin Ince

But if going for more of a 4-4-2 (or 4-1-3-2), which I hope we will see a little more of I'd use the same back 5 with
    Thorne
    Russell/Ince Lingard Hughes
    Martin Bent
