    Attendance...

    3043?
    Somebody's having a laugh!
Is that sales on the day?
Looked like Saints had more down than Hibs, although it is hard to judge as the Hibees were spread around the terracing etc.
No way was there 600 less at Palmerston today than against Hibs..surely???

There was no need to open the terracing because the whole crowd could have been accommodated between the two stands with about 300 empty seats.

Eh ? There was NO segregation section yesterday . That reason alone should of seen the Terregles St terracing being open . It was open for Hibs twice this season who brought a SMALLER support .

I was only talking abot the official crowd which was less than the number of seats in Palmerston. There was no need to open the HOME terrace because there were enough seats with room to spare to take everybody. In fact 200 seats could have been used for segregation with another 100 being empty.

Crowd 3043. 3377 seats in Palmerston.
So whole crowd could have been in the 2 stands with more than 300 empty seats.
    I'm not making it up.

Make allowance for reduced number of seats because of the extended camera gantry in the new stand and those with restricted views in the main stand where no-one would choose to sit and that number will surely be reduced.

The camera gantry takes up 3 rows which is about 60 seats.
Where people might choose to sit in the main stand doesn't affect the capacity.
There have only been 2 league games where more than the 2 stands were needed. Hearts and Rangers although the last Hibs game was close.
The crowd for most games could be accommodated in the east stand on its own. Only the games v the big 3 have needed space for more than 2200.
