    Bournemouth Game

    Is this on Tv?

As far as I know, it is not on TV. Derby aRE during a beam back, but all sold out. How that can be I don't know unless it's in one of the lounges. Steve Mc is right to say that nothing will be decided on Tuesday, but it would sure help if we can win. COYR

The bookies don't fancy us for this one. What does everyone think as a result?

I watched Bournemouth on the FL show. Their strikers are pacy and tricky, will give our CBs a lot of trouble. Omar has to be on top of his game to cut out the service.
On the plus side they seem very vulnerable to wing play and weak on crosses. I think our style of play will hurt them.
    Derby t win 3-1

    re: Bournemouth Game

It's one of those defining games isn't it!

Losing won't be the end of the world as we're level on points - unlike when we played Burnley last season at Turf Moor and (I think) we were 2 points behind going into the game, lose and thats a 5 point gap.

But win and that could be massive, psychologically. We lost home and away to the two teams that went up. So far we've already taken 4 points off Ipswich (when they were top 2) and 3 off Bournemouth - if we can win Tuesday then that helps significantly.

I'd guess I'd take a draw right now but I so want us to win.

Defence is going to have to be in top form, just hope they don't sit back. We've got goals in us and Bournemouth are organised but still vulnerable at the back.

I think it's going to be a very close game but the pressure is on them being top of the league and the home team. Being the underdog going into a game usually suits us like it did at Portman Road and Vicarage Road, not to mention we've beat them once already this season and I'm confident we can do it again. I'm just gutted I can't listen to it on the radio as work beckons

Keeping fingers crossed get a live stream

Big game, but certainly not a promotion decider! Our record against them has been very good last 2 years. Havent we won last 3??

Wilsons pace a threat. Hope our CBs can deal with hustle of Kermogant. Ritchie to them is like Russell for us...pace, direct, goals. Need to nullify him!

then we are left with a battle of midfields. Our 3 CMs play like Saturday and all 3 on song, then gives us hope of a good result

This game is huge, but as people have eluded to, it isn't a "promotion decider".

Pride as much as anything is at stake. We've not lost to Bournemouth in 5, winning 4 of those games. Most in the division consider the two teams as "the best footballing sides in the division".

I've noticed Bournemouth fans genuinely believe they are better than us, and feel if both teams play their football, they will win.

I'm not sure about this really. As I've mentioned, we've beaten 4 out of 5 times when both teams play football. The reverse fixture saw both teams trying to play, but Derby were on top throughout in that one, and the 2-0 win was certainly deserved.

That said, Bournemouth have improved. Like us, they now have multiple threats. They can score lovely team goals, but have the added dimension of Wilson's pace in behind.

Similarly, Derby, in my opinion, score the best passing goals in the league. Saturday's 4-1 had two perfect examples. We've also added a new dimension in the form of B

    re: Bournemouth Game

I watched the highlights on the FL show, and I wasn't overly impressed with the game. Mind, the pitch was poor. But the two players that stood out for me were Wilson and especially Kermorgant (who I think had a hand on all three goals). If we can nullify those, and play our game, then I feel positive about getting a result.

We haven't been consistent enough for me yet. Blips like Forest at home are the reason why I think we haven't run away with the league. But I think with the additions we have made and hopefully the return of Thorne, we will achieve the consistency we need to win an automatic slot.
