    Qatar 2022,it's to be expected...

that it will be played in November/December 2022.
Not news that will be relished in Europe, what a farce this bidding process has turned out to be.

Having worked in Qatar I knew just how hot it is in the Summer, but those clowns at FIFA just did not have a clue. Now, when anyone bids for the World cup it's a condition for it to be played in Summer and they have not met that.

Why did they not give it to bidder Australia, would have made so much more sense. Qatar has only a population of around 280,000 locals the other 1.5 million are migrant workers and expats, total nonsense.

But the most worrying thing is the amount of people dying to build the facilities. The most recent figures show that 400 Nepalese and 700 Indian migrant workers have died.

When the London Olympics was built the amount of deaths was...ZERO.

I sure that Blatter n his cronies are happy though, the phuckers.

The Premier league is already phucked up so this will make little difference Gaz.

This Qatar venue has been a farce all along, Blatter and his cronies are not stupid, they knew/know how unbearable the heat is in that Country in the Summer, you wouldn't feel comfortable playing Chess in the open let alone play Football.

They dress it up with "The World Cup should be shown in all Countries" Our own FA are corrupt, and Fifa IMO even more so, its a p!$$ poor excuse, the venue was chosen with much money changing hands, when near enough everyone stated it was a bad idea did Fifa choose another location ? NO because they had made the mistake, money had changed hands, what was they supposed to do ? Give the backhanders back ?

As claw states, there is slave labour there with many unfortunate folk having perished just because they are trying to put food in their families bel

    Fair do's Alto
Below is a quote from a migrant worker
"Grown men said they were treated like animals, living like horses in a stable," the report states. "Tragically a small number of Qatari power brokers have chosen to build the trappings of a modern economy off the backs of exploited and enslaved workers."
