#Motherwell were trying to keep it quiet, but say Scott McDonald is close to rejoining. He was released by Millwall last month.

According to wiki he was playing as an attacking midfielder rather than a striker for Millwall - which explains only five goals in more than 50 games.
I'd be happy to sign him and trust we'd stick him up top but, especially having seen the Ojaama return, I don't think his return will make everything ok by any means.
The Record quote McDonald as confirming the move... - view external link
Got to be worth a punt. He may not be the player he was 10 years ago, but his attitude was always positive and that’s what we need right now. BBC also reporting on this move. - view external link
Does he know the dross he is coming to play with Baraclough will need a complete rethink of tactics ie playing two men up front. Lets face facts this is not a Baraclough signing this is the last roll of the dice from the board ,hope it worksOriginally Posted by bheron
Would be an interesting perspective on whether this season or the Malpas campaign was worse!
If returning must play up front along with Sutton not instead of him and not in midfield we must start and continue to play 2 upfront IMO
and thanks to rent a gob AlisonRobbie we have no chance of keeping it quiet.Originally Posted by jwok
I think with Malpas we picked up more points but happy to be proved wrong.Originally Posted by Handsome_Devil
