    Ramsden red card

The Ref played advantage yesterday and the game must stop if any action will result in a player leaving the field of play so the retrospectiive yellow was an obviously incorrect call.Would we win an appeal by default on these grounds?

I would very much doubt it as you can't appeal a yellow card, which is wrong in my view, but there it is. A ref could in theory book a player for something as bizarre wearing pink boots and the card would still stand.

The red however can be appealed and if won would surely result in the second yellow being rescinded.Worth taking advice MFC imo as we need all players available for selection if possible.Havn't seen again since gameas not shown on highlights.

I would not want anyone to get of on a technicality. Both yellows were deserved. In fact I am not sure what the rules say, but for the first one, the player that he brought down, was inside the box, even though the ball was just outside it.

Bottom line is, he deserved both cards, and it was the correct decision.

I thought first yellow was for kicking the ball away after the foul which looked soft.

The ref was sh!te as normal anyway .. The guy who scored the ICT goal should have been sent off for a challenge in the first half and a few other ICT players got away with some bad challenges

Why worry about Ramsden the guy is a liability keeps getting sent off both incidents were worthy of a yellow and the second could even have been a straight red. Anyway the guy is never a full back left or right ,he is for the off in the Summer so bye bye he will not be missed

I might be getting my Yellow cards mixed up, if so I apologise I was thinking about the foul just outside our box. Was that not Ramsden?. Even if it was not. After getting a booking (For what ever it was) the second one was a definite yellow, so again we can't complain.

Think the first was for kicking ball away, never a foul in first place. No complaints about 2nd yellow.
I'm glad you guys are discussing ref, I thought he was utterly shocking for us yesterday, usually that 'ref rage' dissipates after a win, but still think he gave us nothing, too quick to book our guys while opposite for calmly guys.
Call me paranoid but has yogi Hughes not had run in with Muir before, maybe trying to appease him...just a thought

Going by refs arm movements he got booked for foul not kicking ball away and after watching again on alba was a booking imo and so was 2 Nd he's a liability even Reid would be better there but don't no if we would play him as been charged but surely your innocent until proven guilty
