I might be getting my Yellow cards mixed up, if so I apologise I was thinking about the foul just outside our box. Was that not Ramsden?. Even if it was not. After getting a booking (For what ever it was) the second one was a definite yellow, so again we can't complain.[/quote] I was getting my bookings mixed up. I was thinking of Pearson's booking.

The first yellow was unjustified imo as Ramsden's strong tackle just outside the box got the ball.
The second was entirely justified and the referee was also entirely justified in playing advantage as long as the ball remained in play, and as soon as it did, he was correct in dealing with Ramsden.
Unlucky to be sent off due to poor first yellow but imo not a squad miss as I've always viewed him as a liability.

Dont think Ramsden can have any complaint, first booking was probably harsh but once booked he should then have been on his guard not to commit a further bookable tackle. His second booking was a very bad tackle and therefore he was going off

It may be soft, but you can't argue it was wrong. Even w

Taken in isolation, yes it was the correct decision. However the referee allowed at least a couple of worse tackles to go unpunished. It was his inconsistency which riled many onlookers.
