    For the first time this year I can now watch Sportscene tonight and look forward to enjoying watching my team on TV.A great team effort by everyone yesterday,manager,backroom staff,players and fans.It felt for the first time in months that we were together in our fight to stay up.

    Yep - had forgotten what it felt like to feel good after a game. Some points for mulling;
    1. We were at them like ferrets down a rabbit hole from the off and it set the scene. I remember we used to be like that under McGhee's tenure.
    2. Scott MacDonald had a fantastic 2nd debut; his movement, touch, awareness and general prompting of others was something to behold. I really didn't expect that much in game 1 from the wee fellow.
    3. Support was great - give us some effort and we'll give it back lads!
    4. Long's save on the half-time whistle was superb and kept everyone's heads up. Just surprised he doesn't come for cross balls. He's built like a brick 5hit-hoose so should be controlling everything within 10 yards of his line.
    Still, can't complain - roll on next week

    Not coming for cross balls may be a goalkeeper coaching decision. Certainly none of curren goalkeeping squad comes for cross balls. The problem being that by not coming for cross balls the vulnerability of our defence is further increased. Seemed from some posters when he first arrived at Fir Park he did come for cross balls.

    I hope the cross ball phobia is not down to coaching, I have irrepressibly lasting memories of Gordon Marshall flapping like a barn door at the 'davie cooper cup final', surely to f@ck he's not managed to damage the lad Long in such a short period of time training him?

    Also, why do people have such a hard on for LSM's comments or in this week's case, lack of comments?

    No slight on the guy, but his negative views are hardly the sort that a balanced individual would canvas when seeking advice during real life scenario...so why put any stock on what he says here?
