There's no need to go headless. It's still in our hands. SMcC needs to learn one thing though:

    1. We are not the same side without Hughes in midfield. That is a FACT!

We will have 10/9 games to go when Martin and Thorne come back. It's in our hands. 33 points still at stake.

    Dont panic?...we're doomed...

Reading some comments I have come to this conclusion.

The truth is that we are not on form...bournemouth had a run...boro had a run ..Watford had a run...norwich had a run.

We need to sort it quick though because all those mentioned are back on it!

In my opinion ..shotton, mascarell and christie are not to the standard required for a team gunning for top 2...plus key injuries to 3 of our 4 most influential players and there you have it.

Keep the faith...even in our captain Keogh...it's not all down to him.

No need to panic but definite cause for some anxiety. We now find ourselves needing to beat Birmingham (not a given anymore) just to stay in touch before our killer week (Norwich away, Middlesbrough at home, Wolves away). What a critical week that may turn out to be.

So you are now saying 2 players who are injured make a team :-D, funny how you say injuries is a problem , yet when we had most our first team players out last season you was saying ... Stop making excuses..
    See you next season

You have no ability to give a reasoned argument, your 'banter' is nothing more than the same drivel every single post.

You're one of the most boring Forest fans I think we've ever had on this board. Well done, we'll have a whip round and see if we can find you a trophy.

    Seriously???

Oh dear, don't ya just love the moan-ins!! They are so pointless, I rarely bother to listen to them anymore.

Must admit I was having a bit of a meltdown last night myself, all doom and gloom.

I do think that Saturday could very well be a tipping point though. We must win that game, if we do then things look rosier and we keep ourselves in the pack. But failure to get three points (AND if other results don't go for us either) and things look bleak, with us playing away against an in form Norwich the week after.

The problem is that games are going to start running out quite quickly now. If we fall behind then it'll be tougher to make the ground back up in the time available.

    Never boring though, is it!

    And welcome back Chilli

I hope this is a permanent return?

It certainly is not time to panic. Very much the time to up our noise levels at PP and really show the boys we believe in 'em (even if you don't!)

As others have said, evey side has had a blip. We've had a few this season too. If we can come out the otherside with a 5/6 games winning streak then no harm done.

It's by no means certain we won't beat 'Boro, Norwich and Watford, too. Though I'd say it's unlikely!

As for the person who asked for SMc to be sacked for Warburton. What an utter ****. Does he realise Brentford are below us???

We have eleven games left. There are seven teams in it and obvs only two get the automatic spots. So all to play for. We need to win at least 6 of those games and maybe draw 3. That means we can only afford to lose 2 more. That is achievable but requires us all to get behind the team and the manager.

That really is a testament to your unique blend of beige-blandness, Trentside.

    It wasn't morethan50years was it?

hughes and Bryson in midfield is what we need. how long have we been banging on about that ella?

not gonna get on steve's back to much. I was at Fulham and hughes looked out of sorts - like a week's recovery would do him good.

lets hope we can get the points at brum so it wasn't in vain.

Warburton ?? I don't want him near this club, under any circumstances.
