    Ainsworth

Read the comments from Ainsworth that he was disappointed that he was not on from start on Saturday ffs if you play like a donkey all year and dont try a leg these things may happen hopefully all the players are relising this which will bring out better performances in the run in because i think line has been drawn in sand from last sat onwards and if you dont perform their will be somebody else that will.

Hopefully we are now at a stage where we no longer accomodate someone in the team just because they are an established/experienced player.Performances now must be the main reason you are in the starting line up.This should make competition for places a premium among the players and can only be good for the team

Ill reserve comment cos I heard Baraclough say at the weekend there was good news with players coming back from injury and one he mentioned was Bob McHugh... I thought FFS I had hoped he'd been found out by the manager cos we hadn't heard of him wasting a space in any of his squads.

to be fair the manager needs to refer to players coming back as positive.

Can't imagine him saying, bad news chaps bob mchugh is coming back and at best he's a bench warmer.

Hopefully he can watch him in training and then offload to a D1 club.

At the risk of being unpopular (again) ... let's take the point back to the original post! Ainsworth's opinion of his own ability is somewhat inflated methinks? Still, if he wins a game occasionally with his petted lip approach keep him on the bench.

If - and it's quite a big if as ifs go - Lionel is on form he does a job and provides another option for us. Him being fed up might spur him on to a higher level of consistency. IB seems to be getting his message across; Lionel will know what to do to get picked.

I'd be more concerned if he'd said that he wasn't bothered if he'd started or not. Competition for places isn't a bad thing. A starting berth is there for his taking if he finds some consistently good form, and he'll have been told that.

I would start him on Sat, drop Johnston to bench. Let him know, All right kido, everyone has heard what you had to say, go out there and rip the killie boys a new one...

If Ainsworth is willing to bother his arse for us in the next three months to get his next contract then we're daft not to use him - he showed last year that when in the mood he can score and assist frequently.

I'd just hope that his next contract isn't with us.

    re: Ainsworth

Ainsworth flatters to deceive and fact had 13 clubs comes as no surprise.
When came on against Caley his body language showed ‘care not a jot’ as sauntered on.
He clearly has an attitude problem and not pleased not starting
I think best position coming off the bench and release him in the summer
