Would appear to be our guardian angel, There had to be one good'en

    extract from the Mail

GARRY ROWETT is pleased at the faith shown in him by the Birmingham City board after they facilitated the loan move for Robert Tesche.

Rowett praised the club's directors for not only allowing him to bring players in - but also rejecting Bournemouth’s £5m deadline day bid for Demarai Gray.

Indeed he-checked club director Panos Pavlakis as especially supportive in the deal that brough Tesche to St Andrew's for the rest of the season.

“I have to say the club have been really, really helpful in trying to get this [Tesche] deal done - Panos in particular.

“We’ve had to compete financially to try and do it, we’ve had real good backing from the club.

“It shows what we are trying to do, we are still trying to be competitive, I know there has been lots of stuff said about the financial issues of the club but I think it’s a real good marker down for us.

“I think Robert will be a great addi

Panos Pavlakis seems to come across as approachable and helpful towards the club. I've heard from fans that have spoken to him and they've liked what they've heard but ultimately he has to answer to the boards owners and who that is is anyone's guess.

Isn't the issue not so much that he answers to the owner but he answers back to him?
