    re: ot General Election

The main consideration for me is to ensure we stay in the EU. I think we'll become a tin pot backwater if we break our alliances with the EU and US.

My fear is that election will be fought partly on race and immigration that will bring anti EU policies to the fore.

Cameron needs to come clean on Europe. He is without question pro Europe. But he knows if he goes down the pro EU route he will split the Tory vote.

    My thoughts:

    1. How will you do that then?
    2. And an easier one for the dole collecting non working families
    3. Meaningless soundbite waffle
    4. Yeah right and I'm Elvis reborn and have a hot date with Kylie Minogue
    5. Measured how? Another piece of waffle
Think you'll find points 1-5 are not much different to the Tories. My alternative to your point 2 is -
And an easier one for the well-off pensioners and the folk who already do very well thank you very much.

Vote for the party that makes everyone better off.
The more the better off earn the more tax they pay and the worse off benefit.
For us all to be better off we need to:
    Cut waste.
    Look after our own first
    Lower taxes.
    Create jobs.
    Raise production per employee levels.
Cut benefits to the shirking classes.

We do not need to punish well off people for achieving success and reward layabouts for laying about and call it 'social justice'.
We also need to leave the bankers to get on with it as they generate the money that pays our pensions - do not force them offshore.
