    WHAT A PERFORMANCE

    Absolutely outstanding last night.

I - and probably many others - was expecting a tougher test against a team much improved in recent weeks.

That was the best team performance I think I have ever seen at Palmerston - no-one was lacking at any time.

The commitment, energy, effort, skill and quality was first class.

The way we cut through the Rangers defence time after time was frightening - for them !

The quality of the attacks was so good we could actually have had another 2 or 3 goals quite easily.

We have so much to be proud of at the moment.

A group of players who work tirelessly for each other and give absolutely everything.

An outstanding young Manager who, unexpectedly, has taken a load on his shoulders and has not only risen to, but exceeded the challenge with flying colours.

A Board of Directors who have built upon existing foundations and have strengthened the Club both on and off the field.

They have set a culture and philosophy of how we wish to play the game which

Wonderful energy and team spirit by whole team last night.
Whatever Derek Lyle is doing in terms of fitness is amazing great season.
Dowie also immense player of the season.

I was unable to attend the match due to a variety of reasons so watched live on the BT Sport channel.

BT provided excellent coverage with different camera locations and the old ground looked great in front of a near full house.

The match commentator was a breath of fresh air and had obviously done his homework providing the viewer with shed loads of information on player background and several little anecdotes on the origins of the club
    and references to local landmarks.

watched the game on bt sport when I got back from the match and have to agree with the coverage. Thought the guests were also very kind in there plaudits for queens before and after the game, particularly Alan Stubbs.

It was refreshing to hear Stuart McCall giving no excuses with his view on the game and stating that there was no free kick at first goal and if a penalty was given for challenge on Wallace then it would have been soft. So many managers would have claimed the opposite and laid the blame at the refs door. Instead he held his hands up and gave queens the credit they deserved for a terrific performance. Got the feeling he is well aware that he has massive changes to make, especially if they get promoted through the play offs as IMO they would be back in championship the following season with that side.

Great result but it's only three points and we have to make the last four games like cup finals to ensure we get the play off spot. No point in beating the likes of rangers

The team deserve every piece of credit they're receiving at the moment . That was another game last night where every player gave their all & showed how much they want a play off place & a crack at promotion .

Absolutely no failures but we still can't afford to lose this Sunday IMO . Would love 3 points but a draw wouldn't be a disaster .

    Great summary Nithvalley.

Very, very proud to be a Queens fan. Actually, I always have been but the smile is even wider today!

    Looking forward to Sunday.

Very proud to be a Doonhamer, saw the goals on BBC Scotland news as I don't
have BT Sport . Let's hope for the same commitment against Falkirk. Will be cheering Queens on from Suffolk.

    re: WHAT A PERFORMANCE

Summed up perfectly Nithvalley. I was up in Fort William at 3pm and thought I had plenty of time to get down to Palmerston but after traffic delays at Stirling and Cumbernauld I started to get worried that I would not make it, in the end I got home just after 7pm and got to the game with about 15 mins to spare. And I am so glad I made it, what a performance from each and every player. Any one of them could have been man of the match. I have been so impressed with the improvement in Lewis Kidd since the turn of the year, he is now performing consistently well and certainly hope he is with us next year.
Andy Dowie is surely the player of the year, strolls through games and never puts a foot wrong and along with Chris Higgins has formed a formidable backbone to our defence.
Del Lyle, what can you say about him, he is playing the best football of his career and I am delighted that he will still be with us next season, a great role model for any young player.
James Fowler has grabbed his Ma

    re: WHAT A PERFORMANCE

Agree with every word from Nithvalley.

An utterly unbelievable performance from Queens, who seemed to rip through Rangers defence at every opportunity.

At last Kidd is getting the credit he deserves. Danny and Del boy were incredible up front, while every member of the defence played as though their life depended on not conceding a goal.

I stood on the Portland Road terrace talking occasionally to a couple of local Rangers fans (who also support QOS) and at half time they were saying "aye but it'll be different in the second half" - they were absolutely correct, Queens were even more clinical!

The very least that Queens deserve this season is a play-off place, and let's hope they play Falkirk off the park tomorrow, as it really should have been our own wonderful players gracing the Hampden turf next week, as opposed to Falkirk.
