I was told this on Saturday night by some piss head.
Which consortium in their right minds would consider buying Bolton Wanderers from Eddie Davies ?
They would have to repay his debt. Then I presume they would want to get the playing squad strong enough to get into the Premier league.
Therein lies the problem, financial fair play. We only just managed to stay within it this season to prevent football league sanctions against us, so they would not be able to spend much.
Forget it ladies and gentlemen, it just aint gonna happen any time soon.
Apparently davies will need to wipe out some of the current debt
However as things stand the buy out should happen before the end of the season
shhhhhh
the club have been in talks with more than one Consortium, so i am told
as for irish , well lennon being the common link...
was reading something over the weekend which intimated that if a club is sold the new owners get 12 months grace from FFPOriginally Posted by eric1953
I'll believe it when I see it and not before.
From what I've heard all potential investors so far have asked Eddie to take a hit on the debt owed to him by the club. Unsurprisingly he's told them to **** off
sooner rather than later jimmy he will No way he is gonna get that back ….if he continues the debt will continue to grow , cut his loss & do one , its odd in the sense that he actually encourages the debt …
Anyway lets see what happens
