A wonderful performance, and the Alex could not have done more.
Unfortunately, Fleetwood and Doncaster were already wearing their flip-flops. Shame on them; we could have been safe a week early.
Let's hope that Bradford come similarly shod next week.
Yes your right, one point will be enough from our last game because Crawley with 50 points play Coventry with 52 points at home. If the Alex were to get one point, putting them on 53 points, then whatever the result of the Crawley - Coventry game then one of those teams will finish below the Alex.
Even if we were to lose against Bradford then for the Alex to be relegated, TWO out of the following THREE scenarios need to happen; Notts County to win away against Gillingham, Crawley to beat Coventry, and Colchester to beat both Swindon (Tues) and Preston at home.
So even a defeat on Sunday may not mean we are down, but I'm sure the Alex will be going for the three points against Bradford and so they should. It wil be the usual nervy final game but I think the Alex will do it.
Further to the post above and I have just checked whether one point will be enough depends how Colchester do when they play Swindon at home on Tuesday. If they do not win, then one point for the Alex will be enough but if Colchester were to win, then one point may not be enough.
Swindon will probably be playing their reserves against Colchester..they made 7 changes to their team agaist preston today.
Amazingly, 45 points will be enough to stay in the Championship. I always knew we were in the wrong league.
Colchester will beat Swindon reserves Tuesday night which will take them out of the relegation zone on 51 points. Colchester and Crawley are likely to win there last game which will put them on 53 points so a draw will not be enough unless Preston beat Colchester and that is far from certain.
Here's my prediction:Originally Posted by Gobstopper

Leyton Orient - One game remaining (Swindon Away). Maximum points possible 51. Can't go above us. will beat Swindon and finish with 51 points
Crawley - One game remaining (Coventry Home). Maximum points possible 53. Draw - finish on 51 points
Notts County - One Game remaining (gillingham away). Maximum point possible 53. Win - finish on 53 points
Coventry - One Game remaining (Crawley Away). Dra
