You can bet your bottom brown envelope that teflon blatter will come out smelling of roses .They will all take the rap for him unforetunately.

Blatter has already refused to cancel or postpone the election of the FIFA president which takes place tomorrow. This says to me that perhaps most of the active ones arrested may well have been non Blatter supporters. I fully expect him to get re elected and I expect him to see out a full fifth term as president.

There will be no rival governing body, there will be no European withdrawal as threatened, we will all just go along with what he wants just because of the amount of money the global game brings in.

There are far more snouts in the trough than just those the yanks have lifted, the investigation into them could take years and FIFA will likely be paying the massive legal bills of all those thieves concerned.

The only answer to this is to leave them behind until they sort themselves out properly once and for all. All of their dealings need to be transparent and all the heads of each federation need to have been players at a decent level in their country.

Cracked me up today, but not from today's date though, when seeing a clip of an interview what 'Slapped Batter' said when questioned...

It's widely acknowledged that football is the global as well as the beautiful game.

It's also acknowledged by anyone with any semblance of intelligence that the game is being and has been run by a cartel of crooks whose only interest is in lining their own pockets rather than support the game that we all love.

Blatter is a ****ing disgrace. He's been allowed to run the organisation as a fiefdom and place his cronies anywhere he wants.

Today's election has been a farce, and told everyone all they need to know about the ethics and values of FIFA. Today has also reaffirmed that it's not just about Sepp, the whole organisation needs to be ripped apart and started from scratch.

I reckon the US authorities will eventually get their men (including S, but in the meantime we need leadership from UEFA.
