Completely agree with your last sentence Rob. As far as Dawkins, Shotton and Sammon are concerned, perhaps playing them in their best positions might help. Personally I'm convinced Dawkins is wasted out wide and Shotton has hardly been given a chance to settle. Must have been close to MOM against Watford but has never had the chance to establish himself in one position. Not sure what Sammon has to offer other than effort, but a coach who understands players strengths and the need to organise the team accordingly has got to be an improvement.
