Its easy to jump on the Blatter hatred campaign. Its very much like Manure and Chelsea fans moaning about Derby fans saying what they have isn't fair.
All elements of all big business have corruption within them at some level be it corporate or personal. We all saw and felt what the Banks did ... however sometimes its worth taking a step back and actually having a look for yourself rather than being told what to think.
I'm not a personal fan of Blatter but hes getting his votes somehow and I am pretty sure thats not through corruption but the work FIFA actually does world wide.
Have a look at the link and the good they do for the game. A lot of this is on Blatters watch also.

Yes it's surely obvious now to any sane individual that football worldwide would have prospered much, much better under a fair and transparent governing body.
Let's hope they appoint someone with integrity. This would rule out a lot of the morally bankrupt individuals currently at the FIFA to
